I have a Design Question:
I have an NT w/ SQL Server 7.0 Server. Which is going to be our Web Database. Our HQ has an AS/400. I was wanting to use RMI to transfer the Data from the AS/400 to SQL. And also use this same RMI to transfer New order's that are entered into the SQL database to the AS/400.
Tell me what you guys think. Total MS-Infrastructure besides the AS/400. When data changes on AS/400 want Java to be able to use RMI to update SQL. When new order comes in through web and into the SQL Database, Java use's RMI to update the AS/400.
What would be any of yall's suggestion on this. Do you think this is a good way of doing this. If so, can you give me some helpful tips. If not what way and explain.
thanks in advance.
