the only supernatural thing i have ever experienced was back in 1970 or 71, i was at a friends house watching tv. no drugs, no alcohol. we heard footsteps walking upstairs. we went up there and searched but noone was there. as soon as we sat down to watch tv again the footsteps started again. he told me it wasnt the first time he had heard them.
oh and i have experienced deja vu before. really odd that is. you know moments ahead of time what people are going to say or do. i havent experienced that in a long time either. maybe as we get older we become less attuned.

I get deja vu at least once a week. Over time, I've concentrated on this re-occurring phenomena and it's gotten to the point where I can sometimes predict what will happen next, as it has happened before. Unfortunately, it's only about 1 second in advance and usually insignificant events. I'm also a man of routine, so maybe I just do things the same over and over to the point that I'm so predictable that I forsee the future! But seriously, sometimes I creep myself out.

there was a thread not too long ago about the paranormal. I also told of a creepy/movie like experience I had with a friends child http://www.javaranch.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=32&t=000946
I have an update on this supernatural/creepy little tyke. He just keeps doing this wacky stuff! Last month he kept talking to his mom about how he can't wait to play with his little sister. He would go on and on about his little sister(he doesn't actually have one). This little tykes mom and dad thought it was odd, but thought nothing of it. Wouldn't you know it, about a month later, his mom was expecting again! Of mention is the fact that multiple birth control methods were in effect (so the little guy didn't overhear any conversations about having babies or little sisters) and the time he started talking about his little sister was just after the estimated conception date. I'll let you know in 8 months whether he got his little sister.
Another story is of my wife. When she was around 4 years old, her mom found her crying in her room one night because she thought her great grandma had died. The next morning, they got the call that her great grandma died in her sleep. My wife and her were very close, despite the fact that my wife only spoke english and her great grandma only spoke Japanese!
creeped out again,
Jamie
