I'm new to the working force and had a lot of great expectation... it's not all what it seems.
Yep i do have fun at work especially if you are doing something but there are times when you are inbetween projects or waiting for a component to be done. Now that can really be a drag.
in 6 words... I'M BORED OUT OF MY MIND!
ps: just ranting!!!

I learn new stuff ... write my own programmes ... do stuff for Javaranch ... do stuff for my website ... my theory, they're paying me to be here and available for work, which I am ... if they choose not to give me work then I'll do other stuff instead, my bosses generally don't have a problem with it since I can always say it's helping me gain experience. Sometimes if they know I'm not going to have any work for a few days they just tell me to work from home and dial-in occasionally to check nothing has come up. (The joys of the laptop). Then I can do all kinds of stuff!!

Does the box have a USB port you can hook something in to?
I don't know of any USB sound systems, but I've got to think there is something out there.
Regards, Guy
