Hi pals,
I am just crazy about the world cup. I prepared a lot for the last world cup as a by-heart Brazilian (if not by-born )....but this time Brazil is not going to win the world cup or to final. Anyway still Brazil, Brazil and Brazil will be in my support list first. Then i am thinking to choose between Argentina and England, not yet decided. Michael Owen is going to be the star of this world cup. I will finish reading all the magazines and online articles.
As the timing of play this time may be in office hour....i am thinking how to prepare for the show. We some friends decided to book a whole cybercafe (without any cost )....but only possible if at night....and the game is happening at evening possibly... ...
Anyway, how are you going to prepare?

In football I am a nationalist.
Germany lost their quarterfinals in 94 and 98. And I watched it with compatriots who loved to see these overpaid idiots loose
This might be a rationalistic standpoint, but the football world cup is much more. Two of the 3 books I still have from my childhood are about history of football worldcup.
My favourite teams are (in that order):
Germany, Senegal, China, Cameroon, Paraguay, Spain, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Tunesia, Portugal, Turkey, Uruguay, Slovenia, South Corea, Poland, Argentina, Mexico, Brasil, USA, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, Belgium, Japon, Italy, South Africa, England, Ireland, Sweden, Russia, Denmark, Croatia.
What are your favourite teams?
Axel

Being Dutch Holland is my favourite team offcourse..still hard te belief with such a potential we didn't make it to the WorldCup! (after being semi-finalist in the WorldCup '98 and the European Championships 2000).
I think I support Cameroon now...but it will be a quit summer this year!

I love the 21st century! Instead of going to war with each other, now we just send a couple of dozen men accross the sea to kick a little ball against another group of men in different colored outfits.
Much more civilized this way!!
