Can i get the information about memory of system using java program.i.e On my PC i want to get the information about the memory available/used of my hard disk.

Hmm.. this might be outside the sandbox (out of the scope of the JVM). You might need to call some native 3rd party classes in order to access this information.

Thanx Dale, if i use JNI to call 3rd part software it will not be generic code. Anyhow thanx for your suggestion.
