Hi All,
I want to work on JNI, so I gone thru the Sun's JNI tutorial.....but according to this we need Microsoft C/C++ or VC++ to work. Is this mandatory ? Can't we work with Borland or Turbo C/C++ ?
Please help me, if possible give me some suggestion or some site addresses.

Not sure, but it seems to me that as long as it is ANSI standard, any C compiler will do.

Hi Barry Andrews,
Thankx for your concern about my question, but when I gone thru that Sun's tutorial, while creating DLL files for the native C/C++ file we need to use some command like
c:\> CL -LD .......
but this CL.exe file doesnot exist in Borland's or Turbo C/C++.
So how can we create DLL files which has to be called from Java layer.
Please help me.
with regards
