hi all,
here is a question about SSO (Single Sign On ) something like Microsoft's .net Passport technology.
if i want to make something like that and dont want to have other companies collaboration then what i would need is a way to submit login information to other servers (say mail.yahoo.com) if i have database of Logins and Passwd (for all the servers i want to make SSO for) for each user registered with me. is this possible??? if so how??? there is no standard for variables to be passed while submiting login info.
e.g. i am 'ving my site that needs to provide SSO for yahoo & hotmail. so i have some users for whom i 've their yahoo & hotmail email account's login passwd info. so if user logs on to my site he/she doesnt require to type login info for yahoo or hotmail afterwards. how can i do this w/o 'ving any collaboration with yahoo/hotmail??
this kinda general question. i didnt know where to put this question but i need to do this using JSP/servelts that's all i know.
Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
