you know the java web start thing you get with jdk 1.4 ? you can press on it and there are 4 programs there. (swing somthn, notepad, draw ) and a miltairy game its called. its just some simple game of thinking like all those chinese games. i wonder if anyone managed to beat the computer at level expert when he is playing the red piece.
the help file says its possible but very hard to do.

Ah I see. I haven't looked at WebStart yet. But it's on my list of things to do, along with about 1000 other Java technologies I need to check out. ;p

Ok I looked at it. And no,dammit. There is NO way to win if you are red and you have it set to expert.

Yes, I learned from computer playing black at expert level. There are not too much variation here.

If you're black, you are assured victory as long as you don't make a mistake. It's not very hard to not-make-a-mistake though. Black definately has the advantage by going first.

Spend some time playing Red on expert, and watch what black does. Then do the same thing when you play black!
