Does closing a BufferedReader flush it from memory? I have a program that is constantly running out of memory and I wonder if the problem lies in all the URLConnections that I create and then the BufferedReaders I create from them.
I close the BufferedReaders, but it doesn't seem to help. Also, is there a way to close URLConnections and force them to be flushed from memory?
Micah
P.S. Any general memory management tips would be nice!
