What is the best way to update an ini file in Java? Say for instance I have a line in the file that reads: From Date = 01/09/2002. How can I change the date value and leave the description in tact.
Thanks,
Donald

Take a look at this thread. The java.util.Properties class has built in support for ini like files.

Thanks, Paul. I figured it out and I did use the Properties approach as well. It works great.
Thanks,
