adding a custom icon to JOptionPane.showInputDialog  RSS feed

hi there, i hope my question doesn't sound too noobish. i've been wading through deitels java how to and in one of my own progs in java2 i want my own icon to appear on a JOptionPane.showInputDialog. however i cannot find any examples anywhere of how to achieve this. any repeat any help would be greatfully recieved

showInputDialog(Component parentComponent, Object message, String title, int messageType, Icon icon, Object[] selectionValues, Object initialSelectionValue)
you should really check out the API
http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4/docs/api/index.html

as i have no teacher your help is appreciated. i just wonder if you could construct a custom icon from your answer as a noob?

I dont know whether you're being sarcastic
or not? Just use paint to create an icon
and copy and paste it into microsoft photo editor
and save it as a gif.
