Hi all,
Maybe this is a simple question (I hope so anyway). I want to get a version out of a dll file through
java
code, and ideas how I can accomplish this?

It appears that if you want to interact with COM components using Java, then you have to look into JNI:
http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/native1.1/
