Everybody noticed that since Tom got a job as a C# programmer, he changed a lot. He used to be a very nice helpful guy. Now he moves threads around without leaving a note, attacks our visitors, makes ridiculous statements that C# is cool and he even went so far to say that Java is not such a perfect language!
Now ask yourself: is it feasible that such an immense change happened to our friend in just a week? No, I am sure, you will say "no, Map, it is very unlikely". Than what really happened?
My version is that this way Tom warns us all. He is saying "Look at me! This will happen to all you, as soon as you start to work with the Evil Language!"
Due to the nature of his job he cannot say it openly, so he had to resort to this subversive tactics...

Hey, go easy on him. Sure his opinions may have changed and he may think C# is superior and java has defeciences, but that's no reason to beat him up.
In fact I would encourage him to speak up in favor of C#, .Net and all the technologies he belives in. So long as he dosen't resort to personal attacks, We all could be learning a few new things from him.
I like Javaranch because of the healthy discussions that go on over here and we should strive to keep it that way.

Hey, wait a second! I never said that C# is a superior language. I think Java and C# both are good languages though neither is perfect. After all, if Java was perfect why is Sun planning version 1.5?
