Please help this aspiring Mathematician

Hi Ranchers,
I would like to ask for advice as well as great sites on tutorials (especially quick starts), books, and other materials about Mathematics, particularly in Algebra and Calculus. I just think these two are needed the most or prerequisites before tackling computer theory, algorithms, discrete math, number theory, etc..
I have some traces in my memory of my undergraduate (BS Electronics and Communications Engineering) lessons, but I want to have a clean start.

Well there is this site over at X, and the one at Y, Oh and then there is the derivative of X^3 which is called 3X^2.


Sorry I don't know of any sites, but I just had to have a little Algebra/Calculus fun.

do you have public libraries? i found a great series of books one time called...im not certain but i think....teach yourself algebra, teach yourself geometry, teach yourself calculus, etc......not certain of title, was a while back. but they were short paperbacks that seemed like they were written for people who just needed to relearn

Thanks for the suggestion of going to a public library. But I think I'm too busy a man I'll just have to make do with the Internet (virtual libraries, why not?!).
About the "Teach Yourself..." series, I'll check it out. But you know that lead me to remember another great series -- the Schaum's Outline series. Thanks!
