Is this possible ? Can we communicate with a modem (on a COM port) using Java ? I'm trying to get a VPN connection to a server setup by dialing-in to it using a modem. (sort of like Hyperterminal or Dial-up Networking in Windows) Is this possible with the new communications API ?
