Hi
When I create links to external referenced classes, why does javadoc need to look in the jars for those classes. It doesn't seem to retrieve anything. All it seems to do is set up a href link in the html. It could get this information from the package-list document. Is it some form of verification?

little seal,
Please change your name to be compliant with JavaRanch's naming policy. It should not be obviously fictitious.
Your displayed name should be 2 separate names with more than 1 letter each. We really would prefer that you use your REAL name.
You can change your name: here.
Thanks,
Cindy
