Hello Everyone,
Friends help me out with some bright shiny ideas, in developing something in JAVA a full fledge application that I have to complete within the coming 3 months...
Friends, I will be start revising my JAVA in the next month so first I have to revise it all from the beininng
By the way I had previously read these topics & hopefully will be going for more....:-

Friends I now want to take JAVA seriously, please gimme some idea that I can complete within 2 months time & accel with JAVA Technologies in future...

How about a store application. Or here is an idea, a bookstore. You can make it as big or small as you want. Some features to think about: a shopping cart with add/remove/checkout (how will you use the actionlistener), managing the display (what layout manager will you use), how will you add new titles and manage inventory (how will the getters and setters work). A project like this could have many classes all working together. If you want to get more complex, tie the application into a database and store the inventory data in the database. If you want a thread, add a clock which displays the current time and updates itself). You may also want to be able to write to a file, such as printing out an order form to a txt file. There is lots you could do with this kind of project.
