I am applying for a Masters degree in CS and they want me to write a Statemnet of purpose describing
why I want to do MS in CS
How this degree can help me grow in my carreer
My undergrade is in Mechanical engineering but I have four years experience of programming.
Can anyone please help me for that?..What I should write or if anyone Can please direct me to a website where I can some info about that .

umm..
Since this is your career and it's you that wants to apply for that course shouldn't those be your reasons for wanting to do an MSc in CS ?
I would think that the best person to come up with the answers to those questions is you, in your own words.

Tell them you want the degree because you heard chicks dig guys with post-grad degrees.

Are you applying for scholorship or going at your own expense. I ask this because my profile matches yours and I wanted to know if they give scholorships for candidates whose B.Tech degree is not in computers.
