or you can use the handy dandy "Instant UBB Code" buttons at the bottom of your post. Here's a blurb on how to use UBB Code

Thats a cool one alright! And exactly that`s why I like this dude Dubyaman. Actually this explains why Mr. PM had to undergo two knee replacement(?) surgeries in last 1 year!!

That shows Dubyaman is indestructible!!
Its really sad that some one as rational as you (Jason) finds this thread offending (!). We (posters) or he (the cartoonist) didn?t mean to offend you by any means. More over the above post just reinstates the point that the Cartoonist makes mockery of not only President Bush, but also other leaders, including his own, based on largely obvious observations. And, no, the ?Mighty Vajpayee? strip doesn?t seem to hurt Indians here.
Just another meaningless thread. That?s all. Lets please don?t start a debate over this. Meanwhile check this one.

And the Brits are advising their citizens to leave too.
If people are not careful over there, the ever humorous Jug Saraiya and Neelabh (the hacks who created Dubyaman) are going to have much more material with which they can exercise their razor sharp political wit. While I personally don't find the thought of 11+ million dead particularly comical, I'm sure they would.

All other Indian publications in India have been publishing this news in front page itself for last 3 days. I guess Fox News is playing a catch-up game.
It?s sad of course

What an amazing feat of precognition, since the US State Department just issued this today.

Brits did that much before, followed by Australians and numerous others, and now USA. It?s true and really sad, but that?s what you get when you try to defend your freedom and way of life, and if you have a nasty neighbour. Just like what happened on Sept 11th.
Well Jason, I am pretty sure that I can?t beat you on a debate in this issue, especially with my limited English vocabulary and because of a number of other reasons. But my conscience stand clear that there isn?t much that we can do than what?s being done regarding this 11+ million number that you just said (Oh, it includes my parents and friends also).
Now, I also know Javaranch is no place for such political troll, and we all don?t want this discussion here. So, lets just forget it, Please.

I have posted this warning and a number of such warnings in Lonelyplanet.com as and when they appeared in Indian media. I couldn't locate my post, but this post Travel Warning itself is dated May 24th, and its the same warning! We follow this more closely than any one else for obvious reasons.
Well, that was my last post to this (hopefully).

I'm sorry, I didn't think we were debating anything. We would have to have opposing viewpoints for that to occur most likely, and for the most part I'm not sure we do.
Now I have stated what I feel about the hacks who created that particular comic strip (a conclusion I have come to only after reading all of them as well as reading their editorial essays), but I don't see what that has to do with the price of tea in China. I had already spoken on this though in the previous thread, so I would direct your attention there.
As far as political trolls, you might want to speak with the two individuals who started these two threads, not me.

not that it really matters, but this is a quote from the first paragraph of the new warning...
This Travel Warning supersedes the Warning issued May 24, 2002.
i am not going to take the time to compare them because threat warnings are always updated or reissued every few days...
i know that it was originally issed days ago, but i picked the most current one.

mmmm... beer.... Speaking of pints, would anyone know where to get Newcastle Ale in the States by any chance?
And not to go waaayyy off topic, but, regarding Newcastle Ale... When I lived in England my English friends who introduced me to this golden nectar insisted that the only proper way to drink a 'newkie' was in a half-pint glass, not a pint glass. Can any of our British friends or other perveyors of fine British brew enlighten me as to why this might be so?

what part of the States are you in, Jason? we have Newcastle here in Atlanta at a bar called Taco Mac. they are famous for having 50 beers on tap and another 75 to 80 in the bottle. we also have it at a bar called Olde Towne Sports Grille.
i used to get it in San Diego in a few bars called Moose McGillicuty's (sp?), Moon Doggie's, and Foggy's Notion.
oh yea, if you are ever in Boise, Idaho, you can get a "newkie" at a place called "Old Chigaco". they probably have more beers on tap/bottle than Taco Mac. or, you could go to "The Ram" which is a really cool bar on the river... but i prefer one of their house brews called "Butt-Face Ale". (their logo pictures 2 rams butting heads) I think they have around 75 on tap as well.

I'm in Maryland. I guess I will just have to look harder! But at least it's good to know that you can get it here (last place I found it was in Japan of all places).
