I just downloaded something to test it, and Download Accelerator clocked the speed around 400k a sec. Damn that's fast. I am happy.

Hey time is so cool! Without it, everything would happen all at once and boy would that be a mess!

OK, so gravity's cool but time isn't? You're going to have all sorts of problems with General Relativity, aren't you?

Cable internet is a great thing, unfortunately I imagine it's a lot like a crack habit, and your cable company is the dealer. Once you've used it for awhile, you find it difficult to go without it. Unfortunately there's usually only one dealer on the block and he will charge you whatever he thinks he can get away with.
The monopolist bastards who call themselves Comcast, my local dealer, have increased the price from around $30/month to about $60/month over the past few years. On top of that, they have capped our speed (naturally they didn't tell anyone they were doing this). I would drop them in a heartbeat, but they have a local monopoly and therefore they are my only choice. DSL isn't an option in my case either.
I guess I just have to suck it up or kick the habit altogether.

The problem with time is the inconvenient way that there doesn't seem to be enough of it.

I see that from now on I'll have to plan a defense for my list of cool things in advance...

You're downloading at 400 k/sec and you're griping about not having enough time? You'll get no sympathy here.
And as long as we're attacking your list, I must observe that, unless the ink used today is significantly different from that, say, twenty years ago, erasable pens are not cool for left-handers. The ink smears all over my hand and the paper, and it's not as easy to wash off skin as it is to erase off paper. You're obviously part of the rightist conspiracy dedicated to oppressing my people.

Who cares about left-handers? They're evil! Throughout history right has been clearly marked as better than left. Most of the commonly used languages are filled with words dissing southpaws and glorifying the right hand. It's in the bibile, it's in products being manufactured every day, it's simply fact -- you are inferior. The real problem here is that you may be a witch.

They're evil!
We prefer the term "sinister". The rest of you are "sinistrally challenged".

I've never heard such a perfect analogy! And I agree... erasable pens ARE cool.
I've got Comcast too... thank god I get to expense the cost of the subscription.

In some Slavic languages "to go left" is a slang for "to commit an act of conjugal infidelity"
I am somehow reluctant to call these Jim-like people "inferior", though
