Does anybody know about simple and manageable way to track personal expenses ?
I was wondering how much money I'm saving every month.

I've found, just the fact that I'm tracking my money saved me lots! It makes you accountable for all your purchases, so you'll think twice about ordering pizza instead of making supper...etc. I used a pencil and paper, and it worked great. Usually, I'll tally up the month end totals and enter them into Excel, so I can create graphs and stuff to see where I'm spending my money.

I must disagree with this. Let's see, last week I remember saying "What happened to that money we had in savings last week? The next day, the new dining room furniture arrived. Arrghhh! The least she could have done is bought a big screen TV or new DVD recorder behind my back!

PS: While you are out shopping buy a copy of Quicken or MS Money. It is VERY easy to track your savings in there.
You just spend all your time making millions of entries in the tool so that you have no time left to SPEND any money.
