Hi,
Array is a simple array which u use in other languages.
ArrayList is a part of java.util package and internally maintains an Object array. It has put and get apis and it does not insist on the user to specify
the size in advance.
Vector is similar to ArrayList but is synchronized for thread safe access.
Hope tht helps,
Chinmay
