I wanted to include some xml snippets in java docs for methods that take in our output xml. I though it would be nice if the format were displayed as part of the java docs.
I've tried using the <pre> tag, but it looks like the indentation is preserved but not the <tags>, Is there anyway to get the tags to come thru short of entity encoding them all? thats kind of a pain.
Thanks in advance

Hi Jeff
So I believe that you wanted to display XML as it is in the Javadocs and it didn't comeup because browsers interprets them as tags and then it diplays simple text list of datat we put in the XML right?
Well, I fooled browsers when I had to do it I wrote XML incorrectly! Meaning, if I have <MyTag>value</MyTag> I would write,
< MyTag >value</ MyTag >. I agree it is not valid XML but that solves the issue and atleast on HTML output in Javadocs spaces are hard to see
