How do I tell javac to resolve dependencies? I use jdk 1.4.2 on windows 2000. On university machines there is no problem with this, javac automatically resolves dependencies.
Thanks

By "dependency" you mean. . . Imports? Classes?

No, by "dependency" I mean dependency between classes. When I compile the main class, javac should find all such dependecies and compile also other classes. The trouble is that it does the dependecy check, but not onmy home computer. However on my freind's computer everything works.

It follows the classpath. If it can't find a .class file it looks for the corresponding .java file in the classpath. if it finds it, it compiles it and puts the .class file in the current directory or destination directory specified.
