AWT image to JPEG  RSS feed

How would one store an image created with AWT tools (e.g. a few geometric figures that were drawn with AWT) as a JPEG.

The only way I can think of is, run your program, press print-screen and paste the picture in some image application, and save as jpeg

You can get an Image from the Graphics Context, then there are multiple libraries available for converting the Image into different image formats.
I've used several, but I don't have any links available

Check out JIMI - The Jama Imaging Utilities. I was interested in PNG Encoding and sound the Skeet.jar code easy to use.
