Also, since we are working with multiple applets how in java do you change a web url. Say im at applet1.html and click button A. How do i make it so button a takes me to applet2.html in the browser? Ohh and 1 more thing =], I want to use a combo box..but as far as ive seen ive only seen JComboBox.. nothing to use just in non JApplets.. can they be mixed or is there another type of combobox that i can use for non JApplets?. Thanks.

Try a quick search on the Sockets and Internet Protocols forum for "email" and/or "JavaMail" and you're likely to run across a few examples of using the JavaMail API for sending en email from a Java application.
Note that you'll need an SMTP server to connect to in order to send an email. Many Windows machines have an SMTP server installed that just needs to be started in order to make use of it. Otherwise, I'm sure you can run across a free one using google.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean.
Lots of different SMTP servers have been created, and can be downloaded and installed on most any platform.
As I mentioned, if you're running Windows, they you've likely one from Microsoft already installed on your computer. (Hopefully it isn't running without your intending it.)
Are you perhaps looking for an SMTP server written in Java?
Above you mentioned something about developing an Applet. Note that sending an email from an Applet might be a trickier thing than sending an email from a Java application or a Servlet, since Applets are normally subject to greater security restrictions. I don't really know how difficult it would be to send an email from an Applet, as I've never tried.

I got this tall by not having enough crisco in my diet as a kid. This ad looks like it had plenty of shortening:
