Excellent definition of art in relation to the human condition. In comparison to the Objectivists, all the other philosophers seem so other worldly, irrelevant, unclear, or just plain useless to those of us who live on planet earth.
Art is also very revealing of the soul of the artist. God, what souls (or soles) we have running rampat at the university I attend. I'll have to do a photo-documentary one day and put it on my website. I'll call it "You're tax dollars at work"...

Yeah, well, I always liked Ayn Rand anyway. (Well except for that Atheist thing). So I am not suprised that I can agree with her definition of "Art".
