Hello my friend,
I just want to ask how can I save the ascii text file into unicode text file or utf-8 text file? Should I need to open the text file first, and reading the bytes, and save it again?
You may be wonder why I need to change to unicode text or utf-8 text.
Indeed I want to get the non-ascii file (maybe english word, maybe chinese word) to execute the native2ascii and standarize for the encoding utf-16 code. However, when I get the ascii file for the english word, the english word become all /uXXXX codes. However, if I change the text file with unicode or utf-8 encoding, the english word is not changed.
Thanks for your kindly help!
Kelly
