Hi can anyone tell me if eclipse will work on a mac os9? I just want to know if there are any problems with it before I start to download it.
Oh and do I need any sdk's and how do i set the environment variables on a mac?

Dean,
Java support on Mac OS 9 stops at 1.1.8.
Even if you could install any Java IDE, you would be working on a very old release. Mac OS X is the way to go.

I dont understand about java support? will i have problems with it or will it work ok and how do i set the variables i.e java_home?
