Now think about something even more scary - after smoking grass there is no smell from the mouth, nor after taking LSD....

Yea, but if they started giggling uncontrollably at the security checkpoint when they were asked if they had left their baggage unattended at any point , I think the security people would suspect something was up.

Marijuana isn't much of a problem because pilots take mandatory drug tests and marijuana stays in your system for a month. Maybe we need mandatory sobriety tests before each flight!

I work for an airline and know a lot of Pilots. To be fair to them, none of them would even consider drinking so much as a sip of wine with dinner within 12 hours of flying.
Generally they are incredibly responsible people.

Really? But according to the reports, this has been going on for quite some time now. They're just two unlucky pilots who were caught partly because of 9/11.

I agree with Angela. Pilots have a very good track record of not being drunk.
In the USA there are regulations that allow random drug tests for pilots. They usually come back negative by far.
