I also like Mozilla 1.0!
Esp. the setting that stops animated GIFs after just one cycle.

i love mozilla. it is faster than IE 5.5 and you can set it to disable unrequested pop-ups. i am having a problem with it not running applets though.

Really!?
I have no trouble running old (1.02) applets like in:
http://www.geocities.com/tony-alicea/SineTest.html
It's just the 1.2 plugin that I can't run (e.g.) with Mozilla:

However, Netscape 4.79 AND IE 6 work fine with it. Go figure!

Who on earth uses applets! Why aren't you using the plug-in anyway?

I think the time of applets is still to come.
I think they were ahead of their time. It's just that they were underpowered (Java 1.02) and slow to load for most people. With the advent of widespread broadband and the power that Java 2 has, I think applets could be used again soon.
