Hi ranchers..
I have the following problem...
I have the following dirs:
dir\com // contains class files
dir\images // contains images used by the application.
the main class is contained in com package (com dir).
the manifest file has the following attribute:
Main-Class: com.MainManager
after making the jar executable, it doesn't work.
should I add some attribute to the manifest ? if so please tell me..

questions:
java error message?
command used to create jar?
jar contents (jar -tf myJar.jar]?
classpath?
(can re-check your steps by setting up your classpath and then running fully-qualified java cmd directly against the class lib)

Have you used the cvf , and umf options when you created your .jar file?
If you did, then have you used the "-C +Directory" option?
Orelse how did your tried to run your .jar file? (type help...)
Have you checked the hierarchy of the files contained at your .jar file?
Have you installed java classpath at autoexec.bat , or are you running from the "bin" directory?
Your .jar file is an application or a service-application?
These are questions that you have to find, and if you allready have, post them to us to give us the image of your question.
