Dirk: Thanks for having me!

Also, thanks to everyone at JavaRanch! Its always an honor to be here. The discussions are always lively and insightful.

It was also great to see the high level of interest in Java 2, v5. In fact, for the first two days I could not keep up with all the posts because there were so many! Wow!

Of course, I knew that the ranchers would be among the first to recognize the significance of version 5. By mastering the "new Java" early on, you will definitely gain a significant career advantage.

Again, Many Thanks!

Herb

Hey, I won. I'd like to thank the Academy, and all those people who voted for me, that was money well spent. Party at my place tonight!!

But seriously, while winning the book is certainly cool, chatting with authors is definitely a valuable opportunity JavaRanch provides. Thanks.
