Hi,
We are looking for a third party caching service. Which is the best one (open source as wll as commercial). We are looking for caching POJO objects. We are using Spring Framework with AOP.

Thanks,
Naren

Tangosol is the only vendor I've heard much about. Their CEO heads the J2EE distributed cache committee, which sounds like pretty good credentials.

I googled on "java distributed cache" and found a few others. You may not need the "distributed" part but it seemed to me that anybody who could do distributed well could do single-server just fine, too.

Post what you find and decide to do! It's an interesting topic fer sure.

I can't see where this has anything to do with Threads and Synchronization. I'm moving this to Java in General (Intermediate).
