How to suppress logging messages from stderr?
posted 13 years ago
I wanna use the java.util.logging package to log messages. The log messages should be directed to a log file and not to stdout or stderr.
Therefore I added a FileHandler to my Logger and made sure that the Logger contains no other Handler. The messages are directed to the log file. But they appear at stderr, too.
What can I do to supress the messages from stderr?
