How can I use my version of java.beans.PropertyDescriptor? I modified this class from SUN`s source code. The best way would be from code, but any suggestion is welcome.

I modified this class from SUN`s source code

I wouldn't announce that out loud - Sun's source code is copywrite.

I found the source code or this class in SUN`s JDK. You mean I cannot use this code ? I will not modify any of the JDK components installed by SUN`s JDK, just use that modified class in my program ... just in my program! If this is not legal ... then I`ll have to look into other ways to accomplish my task. Also, if this stands true, I would like that this post to be deleted by an administrator.

It depends entirely how you modified it. Extending a Sun class to do something new is fine - but writing a class by looking at Sun's sorce code and copying it is not.
