I've just bought the book by Roald Dahl entitled "The Giraffe, the Pelly and me". It seems to me that the Giraffe, the pelican and the monkey have seen that the Duke of Hamshire windows are covered with dust that they then set up a windows cleaning company. Or was it that the duke saw the newly opened windows cleaning company and then ask them to clean his windows? And the boy was exalted to business manager by the Giraffe just because he make friends with the giraffe. Is this how real life situations work?

Yes. Making friends with giraffes is usually good for one's career.

Yes. But who are the giraffes in real life. In my country, the developers have not stop building condominiums and the prices of homes or flats have reached a low level. But our population now is 3 million. I've heard news in the past that the government want to make the population to 5 million. With shorter business cycles nowadays and china swarming the world with her cheap quality products, businessman can only make businesses by offering courses on self enrichment or selling oneself. And that have left me with no jobs for a period of 3 months at my relatives' factory......... Actually I don't mind not doing anything but where would our income come from?
