Java Console Error:

But this is run in Appletviewer.

You can actually post as a reply to messages, rather than starting a new thread with the reply. The thread will be easier to follow this way.

Is your class file in the same directory as the html file?

Also, what's that MAYSCRIPT stuff? That may invalidate the Applet tag in IE because it's only valid in Netscape (and Microsoft doesn't like Netscape...)
