I don't get it. I see a whole bunch of pages about whether certain people are or are not going to hell, which is pretty much what I expect after typing in "GO TO HELL". I must be missing something...

You didn't include the quotes as instructed. If you do then MicroSoft comes out at the top of the list .

Yes, I did. But I went to google.nl, as I always do. They come up with search results which are very different from the ones at google.com. Makes you wonder. Does anyone know how this works? I mean, in what way is the google search process adapted to the country you're in?
I just went to google.nl and typed in "go to hell" and the listing back was Microsoft.com Hell.com Welcome to AOL Anywhere Oops! You're seeing this message because Disney Online uses Flash ... badgirlsgotohell . org etc.

hmm.. weird.. I'm also getting your result... probably M$ sent a couple of thousands dollars to google to be taken out of the search result... money talks..

I don't get this, I really didn't see Microsoft until I went to the .com site. Weird.
You know if you clicked that Microsoft link that came up, you immediately got redirected to a different page. I would bet that some smartalec web person put the words "go to hell" on the page that was actually pointed at. However, since I couldn't stick at it long enough to look at the html, I can't be sure. I figure that someone at Microsoft poked around and found the phrase and got rid of it.
