On 11th of sep this year I was jumping from my roof to my balcony so that I could enter my flat as I forgot the keys inside the house, I got a severe fracture in my left leg and remained unconcious for 2 and 1/2 hour until my freinds came and took me to the hospital where my left foot was operated and doctors said three month complete bed rest. As I could not go to office I lost my job so I am here now sitting at home and posting a new topic in Javaranch.

Now I've realised that I should have posted a topic in MD "whether I jump from the roof or not" before actually jumping, so people like randall have consulted me and I could have retained my job

I am sorry .. Hope you get well soon.
In which city/country you are right now??
AW jumping from roof to Balcony?? I would have prefered to either break the lock OR go to some lodge and come back in the morning with some Duplicate Key Maker.

Why this question? Any city/country where there is no gravity? so that Sameer can relocate there to try jumping again

When my brother was just a small boy Superman was very popular on the TV. My brother tied a towel around his neck and climbed a plum tree. So started his career at flying.
He's much older now. But he's still not afraid to symbolically jump out of trees. Sometimes his courage or foolishness rewards him handsomely.

HI
Ravish I am fine, I have to take bed rest for three months and that is very boring, I used to work for a small pvt ltd company in New Delhi they just give 24 holidays/year including all medical/casual or any other leave beyond that you have to take permanent leave from the company so I am on permanent leave now.

I think Randall's post was unfairly deleted. Just because Randall sounded indifferent and uncaring doesn't mean his post had to be removed. Maybe he just had a couple beers too much
I do sympathize with Sameer's incident, but the morality police here shouldn't become prissy.
