I have been told that i need to make use of the @link tag in some software I am writing to be able to get a good grade. I have looked all over the internet and on the java website and nothing is specified on how it is used.
Can anyone here help?

You searched all over the internet?!?! Hmmm. I typed "javadoc tags @link" into Google, and the very first page it returned had a pretty good description of javadoc from Sun itself. Just scroll down to the first bit of sample code to see an example using the @link tag.

If you download the SDK docs from SUn, the home page has a link to tools documentation. Under that category you'll find the JavaDoc user guide.
