Hi all, I'm sick and tired and I think ready to give up. My problem is Kazaa app that I installed some time ago and now have no idea how to get rid of it. I mean, it launches automatically on every logon, no way to uninstall it - maybe you know how to kill it? HELP! TIA --Alex
I know what are you talking about but I am puzzled that you can't remove it. There is one thing that you can do. The kazaa comes bundled with certain add-ons that run in the background and gobble CPU time. Once that kazaa runs your computer performance has decreased significantly. Download ad-aware from lavasoft. It will search for all the spyware and remove it. Once you do that kazaa won't start and it will ask you to reinstall it.

Then you realize you cannot remove ad-aware from your system
Thanks for replies, guys. Actually, I found these discussions to be pretty thorough - . Didn't have a chance to go over it in details though. Hope, it'll help somebody. --Alex[URL=computing.net [ October 19, 2002: Message edited by: Alex Ayzin ]
