I bought my first cell phone in January. I lost the charger, so I went to buy another. Apparently, my phone was discontinued and that charger is no longer available. Is this the norm for the cell phone industry? Now I'm torn between tracking down a charger or getting a new phone. Advice?
The model's popularity probably has a lot to do with it. I had an AudioVox at one time that my cell salesperson begged me to retire -- probably he was losing money on the service contract, hee hee. I've had my StarTac for quite a while now and have problems replacing it or the charger.
Im surprised that you cant get a new charger for the Ericsson... what model is it? Ive got a Sony-Ericsson T68; to my knowledge a charger for one Ericsson model should work on others. If youre really cheesed off get a Nokia. Nokia phones are made so that one charger definitely works on a variety of models. Cheers, Mark
