hi, is there a java IDE which allows the user/programmer to step into (trace) his java code? I am currently dealing with big recursion methods and I really need to trace them so i could keep track of my values. thank you very much.

Pretty much all Java IDEs will do this. IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse, NetBeans, JBuilder -- all Googleable.
