I have a java file InMemory.java in package
com.ustri.content (ie,inside c:\com\ustri\content)
it takes classes from c:\jars\lucene-1.4-final.jar
when i tried to compile it using javac -classpath c:\jars\lucene-1.4-final.jar com.ustri.content.InMemory.java it shows 'cannot read com.ustri.content'.Any body please help

You did not put the base directory of your own package in the classpath. Try this:

javac -classpath c:\jars\lucene-1.4-final.jar;c:\ com.ustri.content.InMemory.java
