Greetings,

Do anyone have any idea on looking for Print Services available on the system(local/network) without using the PrintService API package, which is inclusive in the java package?

Do advise... thanks!

Why do you want to avoid using the built-in API?

Greetings,

Well, i ain't avoiding anything from the built-in API..

I am actually tasked with searching for alternative ways to locate Print Services available.. Been searching through the net for approximately 2 days and still, found no good way in going round it..

So, was just wondering if any ranchers know of a nice and hassle-free way to achieve it.. errr, would appreciate if the way is from the open-source industry..

Do help if you have idea of it.. thanks..

Greetings,

Anyone with any pick on this?

Maybe, if there are any alternative ways to get the default printer to print a PDF document w/o the print dialog showing would also be fine for me... though, i am searching into this area now..

With a little knowledge, a cast iron skillet is non-stick and lasts a lifetime.
