I am having trouble running the sample class included with Sun's Comm API.

I can compile the class SimpleRead.java (javac SimpleRead.java) in Linux.

But when I try to run it (java SimpleRead) I get these errors:

Error loading LinuxSerialParallel: java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: no LinuxSerialParallel in java.library.path

I can't really figure out how to get the shared library (LinuxSerialParallel) loaded. I did copy the libLinuxSerialParallel.so to the /usr/lib directory and it has the following permissions set for it;

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 30882 2006-01-11 11:21 libLinuxSerialParallel.so.

I am using Java 1.5 update 6 SDK.
