Hi,
I am creating a Jar file of a java application that references external libraries (GUI components). When I click on the Jar file created it does nothing! I know the format for manifests to identify the main class.

However I am not sure about including a "Class-path" in the Manifest for the external libraries as I have been told.

Has anyone any idea tof his? Can you explain what I need to add to the manifest.

Hey... i am strongly against your Name used here as "sai baba"
why are u considering as sai baba ?

why are you putting Great saint name in your place...
Atleast respect him if you admire him...
howz your contious allowed to use that name here..
though u have not mis-use it but its not less then dis-respecting

Hey other guys...how you feel if some one write the name "jesus christ" as his name... the above person used same name ... as we consider "sai baba" as jesus...

Hey other indian guys what you say...

Please dont' mind dear... Kindly change...

Regards
amit

I am more interested in if you have a response to my question and nothing else. This is not the medium for this kind of sentiment - you should know better!

Do you want to go round changing everyones name in the world because it has a meaning in your language or religion? My intention is not to disrespect - its the first time I have heard of this - so carry you issues somewhere else(you've definitely got them)!

Hello Sai-

There aren't many rules here in JavaRanch, but one of them is "Be Nice". You agreed to follow that when you signed up here. Please remember that rule when posting here. Telling someone else that he has issues is not considered nice around here.

There is another rule that concerns the screen name. It must not be a name that is obviously fictitious, or of some famous person. Yours would not have struck me as violating this rule, and as you say, not you either. Is it actually your real name? If it is, then that's fine; if not, please consider changing it something else.

Jeff Albertson: And to think I was worried about my name!

The policy says that the name must not be obviously fictitious. "Jeff Albertson" is a real name (e.g., see this); "Homer Simpson" would be a different matter.
