Somebody asked a very pertinent question here.
Incidentally, I have a right to claim American citizenship (jus sanguinis) . If I exercise this right will it change me from troll to liberal .

Couple of months back I was given a lecture about "Freedom of Speech". Some people gave me examples also (which I found very extreme and in low quality).
What some people dont understand is, eventhough you have the freedom to say anything, you should consider other peoples feelings before you say anything. If you dont, you should not complain when others take the same path.
Yes, you have freedom of speech. And so do I. Just because you have the right to say something stupid doesn't mean that no one can call you stupid for saying it.Originally posted by Sankar Subbiah:

1. I never saw anybody post his/her own masterpiece here. Everybody copies and pastes jokes from somewhere else. No?
2. Since when jokes have to be based on facts?
Come on...loosen up a little. It won't hurt you

this is a meaningless drivel forum, if it is other forums,i will recheck or think twice before i make a post or reply. I thougt this specific forum is for fun and relaxing.Even if the message is wrong, it always good to make a friendly reply to him/her to check its correctness, but your(tom and jason) very first reply is really hard to me.
Even if i search in internet, i dont think i can check its correctness in 30sec.[/QB]

When they claim to be factual. Let's say I made up a joke about people from India that said they were all morons and were better off when they were ruled by the British. Would that be offensive? Why when it's just a joke? Loosen up. Since when do jokes have to be based on facts? But, it's OK to spread lies about the president of the US as long as it's just a joke, right?Originally posted by Pakka Desi:
