Syntactically, you can do either:
A obj = new A();
obj.someStaticMethod(); //#1
A.someStaticMethod(); //#2
#2 is preferred over #1 since it makes it clear that the method is static. #1 is a sneaky short-cut and style checkers will flag it as a no-no.
